All frogs and bees welcome

To encourage wildlife in a garden that in time would become plentiful and abundant in bloom. This was the brief lovingly given to us from our client along with easy maintenance and colour from spring until autumn.

A trip to the nurseries accompanied by our client, a couple of days in the garden with a Posy of Passionellas, and my carpenter to make the Pergola.

Happy client, happy frogs, happy bees.

Blooming Driveway

A feast for the eyes is what greats you when you approach this wonderful home.

The spring colour from the weeping cherry trees is then superseded by a promenade of blooming nepetas. The structure comes from the buxus balls making this a very simple to keep garden and delightful all year round.

Two Tiers

This was a job for my landscaper Paul. Originally the garden was a sloping mud bath, and quite a server slope at that! By creating two tiers a third of the way down the garden and building a staircase in the centre, we have divided the garden into two wonderful spaces. The top space being the adult zone with plants and flowerbeds, and the lower zone for the children to play until their hearts content. We used ornamental grasses on the sloping bed because these tolerate footballs, dogs and children! … and they look gorgeous too!

We are now just awaiting a sunny day for a spectacular final photo!
