have a passion for gardening and for creating beautiful outside spaces. We want to inspire our clients to reconnect with their outdoor space by taking care of all your gardening needs. And our growing team of hard-working, experienced, plant potty gardeners are here to help you do just that.

We are more than just a gardening service. We get to know your garden from root to tip and we love, care and nurture it as if it were our own.
Garden maintenance. Let us spread a little passion in your garden. We can bring your plants and borders to life, with regular visits to take care of all aspects of maintenance from pruning, weeding, digging and edging, to planting, tidying, cutting back and shaping. Many of our lovely clients have found that monthly visits work really well but we’re happy to work to a schedule that best suits your needs.
Fresh Starts. We love a challenge. Our expert teams can transform even the most neglected garden. We ‘blitz’ anything that’s overgrown, leaving a clear space and shape for you to think about putting your own style into the garden.
Enchanting Planting. We are passionate about plants. Really. And we love to help with planting. Whether that’s refreshing existing schemes, or coming up with new ones, we prepare the ground thoroughly and help you put the right plant in the right place. We can also source plants for you. With access to an extensive range of plants and specialist nurseries, it’s a big part of what we do.
Delightful Design. We aren’t just green fingered, we are also devoted to working creatively in the garden. Lorraine has designed hundreds of gardens of all shapes and sizes and with a wide variety of schemes and styles. We get to know your needs and tastes, so we can work together to create the perfect outside space for you.
Seasonal Matters. We are also available for any one-off seasonal jobs you may need a hand with. We love to put your gardens to bed in autumn/winter and help you nurture them back to life in early spring.
Lorraine’s shopping trip. We help you explore the wonderful world of plants by offering our clients a useful shopping trip to a variety of trade nurseries. You get access to an extensive range of plants, including many rare varieties and sometimes even the odd ‘secret nursery’. While at the same time benefiting from Lorraine’s expert advice on suitable plants for your tastes, skill level, garden aspect and soil. Lovely.

A little bit about us. I’m Lorraine and I’m the original passionate gardener! I’ve had a passion for gardening for as long as I can remember - a combination of my Italian roots and many happy childhood days spent gardening alongside my Grandad. What began as a hobby, later became my life when I set up The Passionate Gardener in 2000, on a mission to inspire others to make the most of their outside space. And I’ve been busy beautifying gardens ever since!
We’ve expanded over the years and I’m fortunate enough to work with a wonderful team of like-minded people! We all live and breathe plants here at the Passionate Gardener and that’s at the heart of everything we do.
We’re potty about plants but we’re also passionate about people. We genuinely care about our client’s wellbeing and how they use their garden. So let us take care of all your gardening needs, let us love your garden, so you can loving your garden.

We are one big family here at The Passionate Gardner. Our mainly female team - affectionately known as the Passionellas - are all hard working, experienced gardeners with great horticultural knowledge.
And we’ve recently expanded our team to include some gardeners of the male species – they are equally passionate about gardening and just as potty about plants. They might not wear as much pink!
